CPST Training – Regina, SK
April 28 @ 4:30 pm - April 30 @ 4:30 pm$190.00
This program will certify you as a Child Passenger Safety Technician with the Child Passenger Safety Association of Canada.
This training will provide you with the knowledge and hands on skills to educate parents and caregivers, and to assist and teach with proper installation of child restraint systems. It will provide an understanding of regulations and safety standards, vehicle restraint laws in Canada, and the importance of properly restraining occupants in a vehicle.
Training will take place from 4:30-9 PM on Friday evening, and from 8:00 – 4:30 PM on Saturday and Sunday. There will be a 3 hour car seat clinic on the Sunday afternoon, as part of your requirement to become certified as a CPST. Non mobile babes are welcome to attend the classroom portion of the weekend.
The course fee of $190 includes your training manual, clinic supplies, your membership fees and certification as well as three (3) years of insurance (when you work as a volunteer – not charging a fee for car seat checks), as well as ongoing support and updates as technology and standards change. A $75.00 deposit is required to ensure your spot with the balance of your fees being paid by March 30/17.
Please note: The deposit and course fee is non refundable unless the course is cancelled by the Instructor. Credit card and email transfer accepted for course fee payment.
The course and clinic will take place in Pilot Butte, SK, which is an approximately 15 minute drive from East Regina.
