Sizing Guide

Wondering how to choose your size so your swag will fit how you like it? In this handy guide, Jen Shapka (CPSAC curriculum co-author, registrar, Instructor Trainer… and home economics teacher) tells you everything you need to know.

T-Shirts – Adult (unisex sizing)

Consult the sizing chart below. Note that the width and length measurements are taken by laying a t-shirt flat and measuring across the front. To find your size take a favourite t-shirt that fits well and measure as shown. Shrinkage is very slight; cut is boxy.

Hoodie – Unisex sizing

Note two sections in the below table.

Garment measurements indicate the size of the finished, pre-washed hoodie. Shrinkage from this measurement is slight. Half-measure is as shown in the below photo, with the hoodie laying flat and measuring across the chest at the armpits.  Full-measure is the circumference of the garment.

Use the General Sizing Guide section in the below table to determine what size to order. If your chest measurement at armpit level (like a chest clip!) is 34-36″ that means the finished garment at 38.5″ will be only slightly loose on you. If you prefer a looser fit go up a size.

Sleeve length (not shown in the photo) is measured from the mid point at the back of the neck to the end of the sleeve.
