Help parents and caregivers choose and use car seats and booster seats safely.
The Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST) training course takes place over 3 days and includes classroom instruction, hands-on practice, multiple-choice quizzes, and a practical exam in the form of a public car seat check clinic.
The cost for this course is $100 and includes certification with the Child Passenger Safety Association of Canada for 3 years, a printed copy of the manual and all supplies.
Dates and Times:
June 12, 13, 14 (full days)
8:00-5:30 each day
Note: Priority for registration will be given to those who work in family resource centres, First Nation’s health centres, and as nurses, social workers and rehab therapists in health centres and schools.
