CPST Training – Woodstock, NB

$250This 3.5 day training is designed to teach the participant how to help parents and caregivers to check and install car seats and booster seats according to best practice. You can expect classroom instruction, hands-on practice, multiple-choice knowledge checks and a practical exam in the form of a public car seat check clinic. Successful completion of the training will give the participant the title of Child Passenger Safety Technician and certification with CPSAC for three years.
The training takes place October 16th, 2024 – October 19th, 2024. The first 3 days are theory and practice from 8:30-4:30. The last day is the clinic from 8:30-12:30 (approx).
With this training you can:
– Plan a community seat check event
– Give a booster seat presentation at your local school or community centre
– Answer car seat questions for a parenting or prenatal class
– Connect with local law enforcement to plan a roadside check
– Meet with parents one-on-one to help
– Provide a workshop for your staff
